Sprint 17 – Blogger Integration and improved teams (27th March 2020 )
Google Blogger Integration
We have added the ability to connect Google Blogger sites to Word Pigeon, so you will be able to export to these.
New page for adding sites
Add a new site has now been extracted into a new page, it is now possible to choose between adding a wordpress site and a blogger site, if you want to add a blogger site it must be connected to your google account, or your google account must be listed as an author on the blogger site.
Choose owner of newly created sites
Users will be able to select which team a site will belong to when they create it. You may want to add it to your own team, or to a team that someone else owns.
This will default to a team if you’re in one.
Site Setup Icon
We have made this generic, since before it was explicitly a WordPress symbol, however now sites can be either WordPress or Blogger so it is now generic
Improvements to Team features
Team Management Visibility
All users will be able to see who is in the team and who has what role. However only the admins and owners will be able to administer users and sites. Other users will only be able to export.
It is now possible to have a team admin, once a team member has been made an admin they will be able to create sites, delete them, invite other users to the team and administer which users have access to which sites.
Team users will be able to see which users are in their team but will not be able to administer the team any way.
It is now possible to leave a team through the teams page
Beginning of Depreciation of collaborator feature
We decided that it is confusing having both a Team and Collaborator feature so we have begun depreciating the collaborator feature. With all the new features we have now added to Teams everything is now possible to do through the teams features. We have removed the ability to add new collaborators and urge people to start using the new teams feature 😀
Eventually we will migrate all collaborators over onto the Team feature.
