How to Set Up a Site In Word Pigeon
Ready to set up your first WordPress site in Word Pigeon? Let’s go!
Sign into the main Word Pigeon dashboard with your username and password or your Google account directly. You might see a popup from Google asking if you really want to do this. Tell them it’s OK, Word Pigeon is perfectly safe and secure.
(1) Next, navigate to the WordPress Sites dashboard via the menu on the left.
(2) Enter the full URL of the WordPress site you want to add to your Word Pigeon account.
(3) Click on the ‘+’ button to add the site. Once the site is added successfully, you’ll be taken to the next page which will guide you through the rest of the setup process.
Now it’s time to install the plug in itself.
If you click on the ‘GO TO YOUR SITE’ button you’ll be taken to your wordpress site. Navigate to the Plugins directory and locate the plugin by searching Word Pigeon. Install and activate it.
Head back to the Word Pigeon dashboard and click ‘next’ at the bottom of the page. This will bring you to a screen containing your personal key. This is a special code that keeps things super safe and secure. Copy the key and then click the new purple radio button at the top of the screen.
Once back at your site, navigate to settings in your WordPress dashboard and look for the Word Pigeon option. Click on that, and you’ll see a screen where you can paste in the key. Go ahead and do that, remembering to hit save when you are done.
Head back to Word Pigeon, and click on next.
You will now have the option to either create a new folder in your google drive or link some existing ones with this wordpress site. These folders are the ones you’ll be adding documents to so you can transfer them into WordPress in seconds via the magic of Word Pigeon.
And that’s it! Your WordPress site will now be marked ‘enabled’ in the dashboard and you are now ready to start importing your first document! Easy wasn’t it?
