Adding or Removing Google Drive Folders From Word Pigeon
We created Word Pigeon for anyone who uses WordPress and Google Drive, but it’s especially useful for bloggers, editors and content managers who work with lots of content and perhaps even lots of WordPress sites.
One of the built in features that our beta testers loved was the option to add (and then later remove) multiple Google Drive folders to the Word Pigeon dashboard. Let’s walk through how that’s done.
Log into your main Word Pigeon dashboard using your Google account. Navigate to the Site Administration dashboard from the menu on the left hand side of your screen:
Click on the ‘+’ sign and you’ll be shown a listing of all the folders in your Google Drive
Click on the folder you wish to add. If you want to import multiple folders hold down your SHIFT key to highlight them. Click the select button and the folders – and all their contents – will be added to Word Pigeon.
To remove a folder once you are done with it click on the trash icon. The folder will be removed from Word Pigeon, but left intact in your Google Drive.
You’ll be able to post articles from any of the folders you’ve added to your Word Pigeon dashboard to your WordPress. This is a huge timesaver for editors who take submissions from multiple writers.
